This filter is designed for normal use and is made of multi-ply material which is electrostatically charged to retain dust particles. It retains 99.95% of particles down to 0.5 of a micron and 94% of particles down to 0.3 of a micron. This filter lasts as long as 5 dustbags and is included free of charge from Miele with each box of Miele certified dust bags.
The Miele S251 Plus is for households with medium- to thick-pile, wall-to-wall carpeting. This compact canister vacuum cleaner has an electric hose and SEB213-2 Powerbrush, which is essential for separating carpet fibers, allowing the suction power of the vacuum to remove dirt buried deep down. This Powerbrush is electrically driven, with a 10.5"-wide brush roll and a floating head design. Its swivel neck provides excellent maneuverability. It is also recommended for deep cleaning and restoring crushed carpet nap on low- to medium-pile carpets with moderate densities.
The Miele S251 Plus also includes a Smooth Floor Brush in order to effectively clean all of your hard floor surfaces. It has dual 11"-wide rows of soft synthetic bristles and rubber wheels to protect surfaces.
Superior filtration begins with a dustbag. Miele dustbags are multi-ply and hypoallergenic, and they have convenient locking tabs that slide over the opening to ensure your dust stays in the bag.
Miele’s revolutionary new dustbags are made of a unique, new material. An intricate web of 3-ply random-spun fibers allow the IntensiveClean bag to retain significantly far more tiny particles and allergens than with conventional paper dustbags. Practically tear-proof, this special material virtually prevents damage caused by sharp, pointed items in the bag or by rough handling during replacement.
The enhanced composition virtually eliminates clogging, improving suction performance even further. Millions of tiny dust particles are held tightly within its fibers, keeping the pores on the surface of the dustbag open longer. As a result, a Miele vacuum cleaner retains its excellent suction performance, even when the dustbag is full.
